Head of  Youth Development: Kevin Capel

Kevin Capel is a second degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Roger Gracie and Mauricio Gomes. He also holds the rank of 1st Dan Black Belt in Judo with the BJA.

He has won the Ibjjf Europeans in the masters division at Black Belt in 2013 and has won the British Championships and National Masters Championships as a Black Belt Master competitor in 2017.

Kevin is the Director and head coach at RGA Bucks an affiliate of Roger Gracie. From his gym in Aylesbury he has produced national and international champions from the Kids, Adults and Masters division at various belt levels.

Kevin’s son Keenan was invited to train with the British Judo Squad after winning a medal at the British Schools Championships and during this time Kevin was able to watch and take part in these national squad sessions learning valuable lessons for putting a competitive squad together.

He has travelled to LA for the Pan Kids Tournament regarded as the ‘Worlds for Kids’ with a big squad of children from the UK with Neil Simkin with what was the forerunner to an official UK Kids team.
